The Kalahandi Cup Senior Inter-District Cricket Tournament will begin on September 15, Orissa Cricket Association (OCA) secretary Asirbad Behera informed today.
Originally scheduled to be held in June, the tournament was postponed due to election of office-bearers of the state``s apex cricket body. Kalahandi Cup will be followed by Inter-District Women``s Cricket Tournament from September 20. However, the venues of the two tournaments have not yet been finalised.
